I've just turned 40 years old. It's one of those milestones where one feels that he is obligated to look back over his life and evaluate his station. I did that from June 1st of this year all the way up until November 2nd; the day that I turned 40. During that time I realized that I'm a lot like everyone else and a lot different at the same time. I've had some successes and I've had some failures. I've acquired useful knowledge on some topics and have totally missed the message on others. All-in-all it's been a great ride. I've been blessed with what I believe is the best, most loving, most fun having, and most understanding network of family and friends any person could ever ask for. Though I've not accomplished all of the goals that I said I would by this time, I still find that I like myself. Sure... I require a few tweaks here & there and I do have a few regrets; but I'm a still a powerful personality with a lot yet to offer the world. With that, I've hit the reset button. I've decided to carry on with the good, forgive myself for the bad, and build bigger and better today. Here's to at least 55 more years and the rebirth of a man! Witness the rising phoenix!
